One afternoon I was sitting in our cafe and a friend ask me for a fresh word from the Lord.
This is what the Lord ask me to pass onto him.
The scriptures say in Hebrew 11:1
Now faith brings our hopes into reality, But what reality are your hopes in ?
If your hopes are in the reality of this world they are impossible. If your hopes are in the reality of self they are seen as not doable. But if your hopes is in the reality of the kingdom, they’re both possible, achievable and doable. In fact they are awaiting for you there.
Over the following week, the Lord allowed me to expand this.
So today I would like to share this with you.
So let’s start by reading the scripture that comes out of Hebrews 11:1-3 written by the Apostle Paul.
Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen. This testimony of faith is what previous generations were commended for. Faith empowers us to see that the universe was created and beautifully coordinated by the power of God’s words! He spoke and the invisible realm gave birth to all that is seen.
So let’s break this down, so the pathway in it, can be understood and the breakthrough can be released into our life’s .
Now faith brings our hopes into reality.
Where and what reality does your faith lead your hopes into ?
1. The World reality: is like a wake up call, that what you are hoping for is not possible. So give up, stop trying. It’s ok ( like the way satan tempted Jesus in the desert)
2. The Self reality: your hopes are seen as not doable. Because you do not have what it takes or what you need, to see your hopes happen.
3. But when you enter the Kingdom reality: You will see your hopes in front of you, Jesus calling you to come and partake of them.
This reality leads to the next line
and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for.
Why foundations ? Because now you can see your hopes fulfilled with Jesus. Also Him calling you to come and partake of them. These hopes are now more real than, what is trying to oppose them or separate, you from them.
This was why Jesus was able to walk through the wall to meet his disciples. As He was more real than the wall was (JOHN 20:19). In these verses you will see the disciples had locked the door ! In the reality of this world or self, you would need a key to unlock the door to enter or someone to unlock the door for you ! But when you are in the reality of the kingdom you don’t need either. As it was with Jesus in this story. This is what happens when we enter the reality of the kingdom.
So what about the next line
It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.
What does this mean ?
What this means is, what started out is a hope, now has become a foundation. Because it is now a testimony. And yes testimonies can be shared before they are seen in the natural !
For an Encounter is a greater testimony, than the natural seen hope becoming reality. Selah on this remarkable statement for a while and allow it to sink into your heart.
For what is conceived in the spirit (invisible realm) will be birth to all that is seen.
Which is our next part of scripture today !
I think Paul explains this the best in Hebrews 4:1
Now God has offered to us the same promise of entering into his realm of resting in confident faith. So we must be extremely careful to ensure that we all embrace the fullness of that promise and not fail to experience it.
What I love is how the Lord always confirms and reveals His promise by what He has done. With an invitation to experience the same with Him, in our life’s. He does this very thing in the very next passage of our scripture toady.
Let’s read verse 4
Faith empowers us to see that the universe was created and beautifully coordinated by the power of God’s words! He spoke and the invisible realm gave birth to all that is seen.
If He had not done this and continuously been doing this, we would simply not be alive today. Which is the great evidence of the outcome from our scripture today.
And backed up in this amazing scripture
John 1:1-3
In the very beginning the Living Expression was already there.
And the Living Expression was with God, yet fully God.
They were together—face-to-face, in the very beginning.
And through his creative inspiration
this Living Expression made all things,
for nothing has existence apart from him! (JOHN 1:1 TPT)
Grab a bible and read Genesis 1,
look around you and see that His Faith created !
Now from that prospective it is time to step out and use your Faith. So that all the dreams, hopes He has place in you, will be birth by the faith through you, in direct partnership with Him !
Lastly let’s read the line we missed, As a testimony and an encouragement to us all.
This testimony of faith is what previous generations were commended for.
If you want to know the secret of the great faithful men and woman of the bible and other’s you have heard of over there years. Ones that have done impossible for the Lord. The secret is what we have been learning today and no more or less !
So let’s pray !
Father will You join me in the place You have planted Your hopes and dreams within me ! The secret space You have placed them in my heart ! Awaiting for the day, I will partner with You. I choose to use the measure of Faith You have entrusted to me. I believe through doing this, that according to your promise, I will see them become reality ! Amen
