Have you ever thought about this question ?
Maybe you have got to the end of a day and looked back asking.
What was the point ?
Did I do enough ?
Was I meant to do more ?
Have I let the Lord down, by not doing more ?
I missed so many opportunities to be Christ in my day today, so I must be a failure ?
To be Honest this was me, I would get to the end of a day and look back. Then struggle with not having done enough or dwell on all opportunities. I had missed, the things I believed the Lord wanted me to do. Then the enemy would start revealing to me other things, I could have done too. Which often led me to a place of discouragement.
Until the Lord taught me how to truly walk with Him every day. Then look back at night through His eyes and see incredible success made together with Him. Today I would like to share, what I have learnt, so that all who read this message. Have the knowledge ,tools and resources to see everyday as a success through His eyes. From this space and place help others to do the same, building up the body of Christ.
So let’s start !
Matthew 11:28-30
“Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.”

So if all He requires of us is pleasant and easy to bear.”.
Why are so many of God’s children burning themselves out in the name of the Lord. Also many are discouraged a lot of the time, thinking that they haven’t done enough for Him. Also looking back over a day or week and dwelling of all the missed opportunities to pray for people, help people or to be Christ like.
To step out of this thinking requires a change in mindset or new thinking.
Romans 12:2
Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.
Both Romans 12:2 and Matthew 11:29-30 contain the secrets to making each day a success, in God’s eyes and yours.
What is it, you maybe saying ?
Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. (Matthew 11:29-30 )
This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes. (Romans 12:2)
Both of these, parts of scriptures, reveal something amazing and life changing.
God has appointed many things for you to partner with Him in.
He has planned them, organised and waits for you to join with Him in these special assignments, designed just for you.
But the Lord know’s you so well, He knows how much you can bear and how much you can do everyday too.
So He places before you, a thing or somethings, for you to do every day with Him.
As Jesus’s model prayer He taught His disciples pray , “Give us this day our daily bread” (Matthew 6:11). Bread not only relates to food.
But bread also refers to ‘Life’. Which means everything you required to do in a given day, God will provide for you.
Take the Israelites in the desert, they were given manna by God to eat each day (angel food ). The Israelites were only to collect the amount of manna they needed for one day.
In doing so, they were showing faith in God’s ability to provide for tomorrow. With the exception of the day before the sabbath day. This day the Lord would provide enough for two days, but this was only one day in seven and so they could fulfil the law of not working on the Sabbath. This was an exception for a purpose.
This is the same for us too. God will be faithful to give you everything you require each day, to do what He has planned you to do.
Secondly He awaits every day to co labour in the thing or things He assign for us to do.
When we fully understand this, we will find peace, rest and incredible fulfilment in each day.
Here is a useful prayer to start each day with.
Lord help me to do what you want me to do today.
Put off to tomorrow what you don’t want me to do today
and give to You, what I am not meant to do at all. amen
Then maybe a prayer like this !
Lord I pray as I walk through this day that you will; reveal or bring to my attention the thing or things, we will be working on together amen
Lastly pray a prayer like
Lord I give this day to you, May Your will be done, through me today amen
Saying these prayers opens up, our spiritual eyes, ears and heart. So we can see,hear or discern what God is doing. Also what He is asking us to be apart of with Him.
During the day do as the following verse says
Proverbs 3:5-6 (TPT)
Trust in the Lord completely,
and do not rely on your own opinions.
With all your heart rely on him to guide you,
and he will lead you in every decision you make.
Become intimate with him in whatever you do,
and he will lead you wherever you go.
Don’t think for a moment that you know it all,
I say all this, as what you see as small, to Him could be huge as remember He knows all.
For example God asks me regularly to stop in my day and pray for people. Then one day He said I want you to start texting these people and tell them you’re praying for them. This seems small right and easy !
But it was not, it was huge ! I have lost count of the times these people receiving the texts “I am praying for you”. Have been in a very bad place, even thinking of ending their life’s, when they receive the text. The text was the entry point, to their breakthrough, in their life.
what you may see as not important to Him is vitally essential.
Other times God will say ring this person or text this message or scripture to this person ! Virtually every time, it was right at the moment they were crying out for help, wisdom etc They often will ring me or text me and ask how did I know I needed that scripture or word! May reply, To be honest I did not, But He did.
I have also seen opportunities, I thought were huge and God has said leave them and walk away.
We read the difference between our thoughts and ways with God’s thoughts and ways in.
Isaiah 55:8-9 (TPT)
“For my thoughts about mercy are not like your thoughts,
and my ways are different from yours.
As high as the heavens are above the earth,
so my ways and my thoughts are higher than yours.
Then each night before you go to sleep, look back over the day and you will see like I do now. All of the amazing things, God allowed you into and called you to be part of ! Ask to show reveal these things through His eyes and He will. This often takes things to another level, as he reveals the hidden things you never knew.
This is now the time to pray a prayer of thanksgiving like.
Thank You Lord for entrusting me to be part of the amazing things we did together today. I now can rest, I know you are going ahead into tomorrow. To prepare more incredible things we can co labour in together. I thank You and give you all the Glory ! To be a partner in this beautiful life, that is satisfying and perfect in Your eyes. This fulls my heart, with Joy. Thank YOU Jesus. Amen
If we look through Jesus life, while He lived on earth. We see all of the above.
- He surrendered His will and each day to the Father. Often up early, seeking the Fathers will for the day ahead.
- Everything he did was directed by the Father. What seemed important to the people, including his closes disciples. He would often focus on something completely different, as this was what the Father was saying to do. Like when Lazarus got sick and He waited until he died before visiting him. He even went against culture and religious beliefs, when the Father asked Him too. Like when He stopped and talked to the Samaritan woman.
- He did everything we read in Proverb 3:5-6. He even walked away from crowds to spend time with the Father, revealing what was more important.
- He would slip away at night to spend more time with the Father, sometimes spend all night with Him.
Jesus through doing all these things, actually managed to transition into being one with the Father. He explains this to Phillip in John 4:10 lets read
….Even my words are not my own but come from my Father, for he lives in me and performs his miracles of power through me.
I hope to write a message on this soon. As I believe we can all be one with the Father and Holy Spirit too. Through being one with Jesus ! Anyway that is a message for another day.
Challenge time
- Take three above prayers and start each day with them.
Lord help me to do what you want me to do today.
Put off to tomorrow what you don’t want me to do today
and give to You, what I am not meant to do at all amen
Now pray a prayer like !
Lord I pray as I walk through this day that you will; reveal or bring to my attention the thing or things, we will be working on together. Reveal to me your thoughts and ways, so I can walk in your sight. amen
Lastly
Lord I give this day to you, May Your will be done through me today amen
2. Now go out into your day and allow Him to guide you through the day. Remember these verses even put them on card on your car dashboard,desk or the fridge. Also maybe on the screen of your phone, pad or computer.

Spend sometime allowing with Him. So he can show you the today from His prospective, through His eyes.
4. Now pray a prayer of thanksgiving like. Thank You Lord for entrusting me to be part of the amazing things we did together today. I now can rest, know you are going ahead into tomorrow. To prepare more incredible things we can co labour in together. I thank You and give you all the Glory ! To be a partner in this beautiful life, that satisfying and perfect in Your eyes. Fulls my heart with Joy. Thank You Jesus. Amen.
Father what an incredibly simple message, with such wisdom.clarity and direction. Father help the ones, who read this message and implement the understanding into their life’s. To truly walk each day with their eyes,ears and heart towards. Until every day is successful in your eyes and their amen.
