Let’s quickly recap in part 1 we saw the importance of how we view the Lord, who we know Him to be, because the way we see the Father will determine our destiny, and the level we go in our relationship with God will be to the proportion of how we see Him.
Wow. So take a moment and check in with Holy Spirit about how you see God? Then let’s continue.
Let’s start with this: When God shows up or enters the room, fear has to exit! Hallelujah, fear cannot exist in the Presence of God
I encourage you to listen to Brain & Katie Torwalt “When You Walk Into the Room” and let truth rise up in you of who God is.
Are you confused? Good, let’s keep going.
Mark 3:23-25
“So He called them to Himself and said to them in parables: “How can Satan cast out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand”.
Jesus was sharing this parable, to reveal a truth that exposed a lie which was being proclaimed by the Pharisees. Did you recognise the lie?
Mark 3:22 (NKJV)
And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, “He has Beelzebub,” and, “By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons.”
Here Jesus was acknowledging there are two kingdoms The Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Satan and showing us how to test any action, to see and know which kingdom it comes from. (Does it speak life or death? Does it bring unity or division?)
This way, of knowing which Kingdom it is, is the way we need to see fear when it comes to God!
Each kingdom has a fear! One draws us near and the other will lead us to distance ourselves from Him!
From the Kingdom of God the perspective ‘to fear God’ is to be in awe of Him, and see Him with reverence.
In this kingdom there is Love, life and freedom.
The Word says that day and night they never stop saying: “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.” “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they were created and have their being.” Rev 4
Wow, take a moment close your eyes and picture the Kingdom in this verse. The angels were not saying these words out of ritual or rote, but were speaking out what they were seeing from relationship. For every time they looked at Him they saw, encountered, felt and experienced Him!
They were totally in awe and verbally expressing themselves!
From the kingdom of satan ‘to fear’ is built, established and centred in control and manipulation, for satan has and gives No Love!
In this kingdom everything is ordered, structured and earned.
A question you may like to ask yourself and allow the Lord to reveal to you the answer:
What is my love Father, for You centred in?
Would You reveal and expose any hidden things in my heart to You?
Maybe say a prayer like David did,
Psalms 139:23-24 (TPT)
“God, I invite your searching gaze into my heart.
Examine me through and through;
find out everything that may be hidden within me.
Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares.
See if there is any path of pain I’m walking on,
and lead me back to your glorious, everlasting ways—
the path that brings me back to you.”
Challenge time:1. Say this prayer “Father God how do I see You? Write down what he shows you.
2. Now Say “Father God reveal Yourself to me? Write down what He shows you.
3. Now it choice time you can choice from this day forward see Him for who he is!
4. If you want to do this say, Father today I choose to lay down ………(read out what He revealed of how you see Him) and I choose to pick up …………(Say what He showed you of Himself and who He really is) in Jesus Name Amen
5. Now it’s time to give thanks
Father thank You for your word and message that it does not fall void but accomplishes everything you desired it to fulfil! Thank you Father, Thank you Jesus and Thank you Holy Spirit. Amen
