The true meaning of brokenness In Gods eyes

This morning I woke up with a brokenness in my spirit and with a heart of disconnect.  My thoughts were on a day that we as Christian  celebrate what Jesus did  and sacrifice for us. Why would I feel this way ?  I really believe the answer was given to me by the whisper of the Holy Spirit .

For Jesus on this day many years ago was beaten and broken by the people. His disciples, His  mother and those who believed in him

were all broken inwardly by what they were witnessing . Even the  heart of humanity was broken by what was being displayed.

But the father knew within the brokenness. He could re-establish, reform, renew,  replace, develop and release something greater for all humanity. Both for those who had been and for whose to come.  So the cross is not a place of what happened. But I believe it’s a place of now what is happening and will eventually  happen. This is what I believe the Lord is saying today in this place and season we are in.  That as the cross was seen on that day when Jesus was hung and died as an end. The Father even allowed Jesus on that day to feel the reality of this as He said “father father why have you forsaken me “( Matt 27:46). I believe the Father sees Brokenness as  a process or place we walk through on our way  to a land  of fulfilment as it was for Jesus on that day.

So as Christians we should see seasons of brokenness as those times that lead us into a process.  Which is a vital and essential part of the journey to the fulfilment of a life of  abundance.

So here is your challenge today.

1. Ask the Lord to search your heart and  expose any brokenness. Maybe say a prayer like ‘ Father I ask you search my heart and reveal my broken areas to me.

2. Ask the Lord to reveal to you how He sees these areas of your life. Maybe say a prayer like ‘Father God I ask you to show me how you see these areas of brokenness as a journey to a abundant life ’

3. If you have done as above. I now believe the Lord is inviting you to lay down your understanding on how you saw these areas in your life. To instead choose to pick up the hope, joy and expectancy that will be needed to walk into your new awaiting destiny.  Maybe say a prayer like this ‘ Father I choose to lay down how I see these areas of brokenness and I choose to pick how you really see them

4. Thank the Lord for what He Has done for you today and believe He has released over you for the years to come.

Father I thank you for what the world would see as change in fate. But we know is in reality a true reflection and projection of your heart of Love for your people. Thank you for allowing us to see the true prospective of brokenness as you do today. Please lift up your children today in this time we are in Amen
