Lets recap from part three
I have so many testimonies of how His word passed on at the exact moment needed, has brought about healing, deliverance,strengthening, strategic ideas and wisdom.
But to be honest I also have stories of how people have not been obedient to His word and great loss has come from it. This really grieves my heart, But I will share one with you. This testimony is not to bring condemnation, but awareness, that if we miss manage His word and are not obedient to it. Then the consequences can be dramatic (this is Sauls testimony, the complete opposite of David, yet both were anointed and appointed by Samual from the Lord to be kings. .). My prayer is as we read this testimony below, that we can all learn from it.
One night as I was about to fall sleep, I saw an old steam train, it was covered in died-brie and moss for it had been hidden for along long time. This was Gods original plan for a church , but due to people’s agendas and directions, He had place it in safe keeping for a time like this.
The Lord passed on the following scripture which explained all He wanted, how to proceed and His promised awaiting for this church.
The scripture was Jeremiah 25:5 which talks about His people turning or repenting from their sin, ways and past practises. Then an amazing promise of walking into and dwelling in the land that the LORD has given to them and their fathers. ‘A land the Lord gave them and their people long ago. ‘
The Lord said it is time to assemble a group that have been gifted to clean,oil and prepare the engine for the journey ahead and the regional intention this church was design for long ago! He was going to show the pastor who the people were too. He was so excited.
What a plan, promise and inspirational invitation by the Lord. He was calling them into the promise land.
All their hard work was going to be worth it. The ones who had laid down their life’s for this church over the years would finally see what they dreamed of seeing.
There was such an excitement in the spirit of what this was going to provide. The life’s that would be impacted and community transformation that would come from this move of God.
I could not wait to see this happen.
The Lord sent me to a pastor of a church in a small town and told me how to deliver His word, in verbal declaration and written word to leave with him.
But sadly this pastor would not listen and got hung up with ‘self’ (which we can all do I guess, but that can be very costly in a leadership role. We just have to look at the story of Saul) , the pastor said he had been doing his role for 15 years and not done anything wrong. He screwed up the word, rejected it and sent me on my way.
Sadly it was not to long after this , he left the church and eventually the church closed. As Saul’s decision not to obey God made Samuel very sad in 1 Samuel 15. I cried in my heart for along time after this. This is only one of many words He has ask me to pass on to people. Who sadly did not have the thought to take the time to hold them up to the Father for direction. Or at least take them to someone they know who are prophets or have a gift of the prophetic.
This is one thing I have learnt and can I pass on to you as wisdom. No matter what the word is or how you received it, please, please. Place your opinions and agenda’s aside (the thing called self) and present the word to the Lord to see if any or all of it is true. For confirmation run it past someone you know and trust, who is a prophet or have a gift of the prophetic.
For I have learnt that the Lord will often delivery His message, in a new way, we have never heard of or seen before. Only a direct relationship with Him will reveal the true meaning and answers.
Let me finished their for today and next I will share how I was able to walk through this great loss, disappointment and keep walking in my role as a prophet.
Father I pray for all the disillusioned, prophets and apostles, let’s include evangelist, pastors and teachers. Would you comfortable them today. Feed them with Your strength,with Your Love and with Your Grace. So them may stand or raise up again and take the mantle of the role you appointed them for.
So we will see whole measure of the fullness of Christ in our nation amen.
