One morning I had this incredible illustration to the word – bible, along with the thought If Jesus is the word and the word is the scriptures, then my friend (Jesus) must be calling me to say hi and share some amazing revelation!
So I grabbed the word and opened it to where He led me Zechariah 4:1 (NKJV) called Vision of the Lamp stand and Olive Trees.
It’s a story of Zechariah sleeping being woken by an angel. Let’s read..
“Now the angel who talked with me came back and wakened me, as a man who is wakened out of his sleep. And he said to me, “What do you see?”
Has this ever happened to you ?
Here’s Zechariah response
So I said, “I am looking, and there is a lamp stand of solid gold with a bowl on top of it, and on the stand seven lamps with seven pipes to the seven lamps. Two olive trees are by it, one at the right of the bowl and the other at its left.”
Zechariah could see and describe in detail what the Lord was revealing to the angel and himself. He was the eleventh of the Twelve Minor Prophets in the Old Testament, seeing in the spirit was common to him, for the previous chapters reveal many similar encounters.
Now with this perspective let’s carry on with Zechariah talking to the angel.
So I answered and spoke to the angel who talked with me, saying, “What are these, my lord?” Then the angel who talked with me answered and said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.”
We’ll pause on this scripture as this was the revelation I received from Jesus my friend! The reaction from the angel and comment. Do you not know what these are?”
Jesus said the angel would not have said this unless there was a way Zechariah could have known and maybe should have known what he was seeing and the interpretation of it.
The angel was very gracious as the Lord was to both his disciples and the many like Nicodemus who came to Him.
But as with all of the above, there must have been a way for them to see things from the Father’s perspective! At least on all of the above occasions the angel or Jesus would not have share similar comments like Do you not know what these are? Or how is it you don’t know this ?
I love exploring these thoughts as I believe the Father is asking questions on so many things, He is revealing to His church, His children and the world today. Do you not know what/why/how these are so?
Right let’s pause there and next time pick up another key to seeing from the Father’s perspective.
Challenge Time: (Grab your journal and some space to record the answers He gives)
1. Ask the Lord to prepare your heart for expansion, to be able to comprehend the kingdom in it fullness!
2. Ask the Lord if there a things your need to address or shead to enable you to understand the kingdom. Reveal to you mindset or part truths that you have. write down what He says
3 It says in the word to take every thought captive (2 Corinthians 10:5) So ask the Lord to reveal to you, words you have receive and believed that are simply not true or contain the Truth (Write these done too)
4. Take time with the Lord to go through all that He has reveal to you and you have written! Asking Him to reveal the truth and asking Him to replace your thoughts, beliefs or words received or excepted with His Truth. (Don’t rush this ) as per (Roman 12:2 renewing you mind)
5 Give thanks ! Spend a time thanking Him ! Praising Him and worship for All He is !

Father I thank you that you are always longing for your children ‘Us’ to fully comprehend the fullness of who You are. Also how your kingdom operates and the part we as Your children are all call to betake of ! Allow us to not only see, but also discern what you are saying and doing ! Help us throughout this journey on this series to be transformed through Your spirit. To be able to fully walk with You and meet you face to face ! Amen
