Hi Guys as I was sitting and mediating this morning, these words from apostle Paul resound in my spirit Love is patient, Love is Kind (1 Corinthians 13:4 ) .These words are powerful, have such depth and meaning in times like this. Do you know that kindness and patience are signposts to Jesus and new life.
Romans 2:4 (NASV)
….do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?
If you look back at your walk you will find it was love,kindness and patience that was the doorway to your new life with Him. As it was for you it will also will be the doorway for others.
Take the adulteress woman ( John 8:1-11) Jesus never rebuke her, He loved her, was kind and patient to her and she walked away forgiven, saved, free from guilt and shame with a invitation to a new life.
I wonder do you really know how power these these three words are Love, kindness and patience. They are the very essence of our Lord.
So are they the essence of you and at the heart all you do ?
I think this is a great time to mediate on these !
Romans 2:4 could be approach this way : God’s kindness, tolerance and patience through you will led others to repentance. ( to know Him. )
Father I ask today, that you show us the importance of Love,kindness and patience. That through this your we will reach the lost for you Amen
