Tomorrow could be an interesting day, as life, as we know, could change depending on our governments’ decision. Nevertheless, are we really ready for a change? As some people find change so hard to accomplish. I believe the reason for this is that changes come with challenges, uncertainty and a period for action.
Many years ago the Lord asked me to write a message called, ’The 7 Key Steps to Action’. However, I still remember this phrase the Lord gave me. The difference between complacency and completion is action.
This action can only come with the right heart conviction from the Lord, courage and a decision. Then one step at a time not giving up until completion. This was Joshua’s story which we read in Joshua 1-4. It starts with a word from the Lord that brought a heart conviction to Joshua, courage and a decision. Then one step at a time not giving up and ends with Joshua leading the Lord’s people into the promised land (Completion).
In Joshua 3:14-15 (talks about His promise), then in verse 3:15 (His presence). In Joshua 4:11 (His Glory manifesting) and finally, on the other side of the ark the testimony of Joshua 4:16 (His Promise Completed). (NKJV). I believe it will be the same for us as the Lord leads us into our transition/change into our future (promise land).
My challenge for you today is to start preparing for this change.
1. What is the promise that the Lord has given you for this next season?
2. What is His direction for you?
3. Is there any sanctification needed for the path ahead? (getting your heart right with the Lord)
4. Ask the Lord to give you leadings and directions.
When you have done the task he has set before your then you’re ready to go, so start walking forward (this called courage).
Father God,
Only you know our promise, journey and destination.
Help us all during this time.
Amen!
