Welcome back as we continue with how others can restrain, restrict, and take away the Word of God out of our lives. We hope you have enjoyed and discovered a fresh All Authority that Jesus has given you, and that you have been declaring and walking in that Authority more and more daily.
Today we see how they can replace God’s word and that God always has a Way out for us. Hallelujah.

Imagine this situation we can all relate to, you are hurting and confused by a turn of events that have happened and need wisdom, who do you turn to? God or a person?
Be real as it will reveal where your heart is. If it was a person, then rejoice because you have an invitation to change it up and choose to go to God first.
1 Corinthians 1:19 “As the Scriptures say, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and discard the intelligence of the intelligent.”
Proverbs 21:30 “There is no wisdom, no understanding, no counsel that can prevail against the LORD”
Read it again and declare it over yourself, For He has the final Word and say. Hallelujah.
Back to Elijah and Jezebel in 1 Kings 19:1-3
“Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword. Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, “So may the gods do to me and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by this time tomorrow.”Then he was afraid, and he arose and ran for his life and came to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there”
Can you see it? How the Voice of God has been replaced by the voice of another for Elijah? And the result is he is running in fear to hide, instead of standing firm on God’s Promises he has received, against he is a man who knows God, yet the lies have arrested his heart and made him forget what God said.
Key: By their words people can not only take God’s word, they can even replace it in our lives
We need to BE ON GUARD AND STAND WATCH to keep God’s Word alive in your life and so you are not deceived or destroyed and His promises to you removed by another.
We know when some people see someone succeeding they will try destroy them with their words or actions, as they see the success in their lives, and realise they don’t have it. Envy is at play, with jealousy and covertness of another’s gift of God.
This is not the way with God, we are called to champion, celebrate, come alongside brothers and sisters in their journey continually pointing them to Jesus by the Holy Spirit, empowering them to see God.
Because He is always ready and waiting to INTERVENE and INTERRUPT us at exactly the right time!
Throughout the Bible God continually is showing up, loving, reminding and speaking through the actions and Word: Truth of His Presence, Power, Provision and Promise with them, as He meets them where they are at.
This happens for Elijah, the angel, a sent one by God to minister provision to his hurts and bring wholeness and healing, strength, repentance, and Truth back to him.
Let’s continue on in 1 Kings 19:5-8
“And he lay down and slept under a broom tree. And behold, an angel touched him and said to him, “Arise and eat.” And he looked, and behold, there was at his head a cake baked on hot stones and a jar of water. And he ate and drank and lay down again. And the angel of the Lord came again a second time and touched him and said, “Arise and eat, for the journey is too great for you.” And he arose and ate and drank, and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb, the mount of God”.
Key: God made a way out and will allow us the way out, and is always after REDEEMING us.
For Has a plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11-13) but due to words spoken lies create lies (attraction)
Let’s end with 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20 declare it over yourself as your Father speaks to your heart.
“After all, what gives us hope and joy, and what will be our proud reward and crown as we stand before our Lord Jesus when he returns? It is you! Yes, you are our pride and joy”
This concludes our series we pray today you know child of God that you are His pride and joy and that you can be filled with hope and joy today in this truth, promises, Spoken Word to you, that you have in you all He requires to complete it in His timing and Way.
Challenge Time: Grab your journal, space and record all that God gives you.
1. God am I living in the purposes and plans You have for my life right now? If not where am I out of alignment and would You realign me?
2. God has Your word has been replaced or destroyed in my life by another? Today I ask You to reinstate it and declare Your word alive and active in me.
3. God You are my redeemer, is there a way out You want to show me for situations, circumstances that are restricting or restraining me?
4. God You are my covenant, my promise, my future and I thank You, would You show me a glimpse of what You have for me?
5. Give Thanks to the One who is worthy of All Praise and Honour.
Father God we thank You for this incredible series, for all the gems, revelation and new understanding we have with how your Word can be stolen from us. Holy Spirit lead us to cherish, nourish, grow and protect the seed of Jesus in us and to walk each day in the Authority we have been given as Sons and Daughters of Most High. In Jesus name. Amen.
