She Carried the Promise of Deliverance! Do you?

Today we carry on our Journey to Christ’s birth with Part 3 and the thought: She carried the Promise of Deliverance! Do you?

Oh, Deliverance, actually healing and deliverance go together like marmite and cheese, well my kids think so, I think more like bread with butter, or chocolate and strawberries. You get the gist, they complement each other, work together for BEST OUTCOME for the person. Which is Father God’s forever heart desire, to want and BRING about, the BEST for the person, to walk in complete Freedom and Truth in their Identity as beloved sons and daughters of God.

This is what Deliverance does, as Holy Spirit works through the one to bring out and RESTORE the True Identity of who they are as beloved sons and daughters of God.

Deliverance speaks, Might, Power, Authority, Healing, Restoration and Release. Deliverance is the work of the Holy Spirit, abiding, leading and powerfully moving through each person to RESTORE who they are and all the enemy has stolen. Hallelujah, our God is the God who REDEEMS all and everything.

I’m reminded of a song, here’s some of the lyrics that speak What Jesus who is God, came to do and be for us, and the whole world! Mary did you know?

Mary, did you know that your baby boy
Would one day walk on water?

Mary, did you know that your baby boy
Would save our sons and daughters?

Did you know that your baby boy
Has come to make you new?
This child that you delivered, will soon deliver you

Will give sight to a blind man?

The lame will leap, the dumb will speak
The praises of the Lamb

Hallelujah!! Wow! I mean now we know, but again put yourselves in Mary’s shoes would we know what our YES to God and His plan for Deliverance would mean, and cost us. Selah there.

Jesus, the babe, the unexpected, the GIFT, LOVE came to bring FOREVER DELIVERANCE, HEALING, REDEMPTION and SALVATION from the curse that we were under from the beginning and the Lie that separated us from seamless intimacy with God.

We simply cannot understand the Bible without getting this one basic principle. Everything written is directly connected to this promise in Genesis 3:15 and its fulfilment.

Genesis 3:14-15

So the LORD God said to the serpent,

“Because you have done this,

 “Cursed are you above all the livestock

and all the wild animals!

You will crawl on your belly

and you will eat dust

all the days of your life.

And I will put enmity

between you and the woman,

and between your offspring and hers;

he will crush your head,

and you will strike his heel.”

Do you see it? Right at the beginning God promises to bring the full curse of evil back upon the one who brought the curse into the world. God’s salvation would rise from the offspring of woman to crush evil forever destroying the curse, and the full

Galatians 4: 4-5

“But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, [Jesus Christ] born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons”.

Jesus came to be the ‘animal sacrifice that the law demanded as sin offering’ Jesus to be the ‘Lamb that was spotless, led to the slaughter’ as John 10:10 says “I came to bring Life and all it’s abundance”

God delivers out of his goodness, not because of our abilities or merits. Deliverance has nothing to do with us, it is ALL GOD and HIS DESIRE TO BLESS and DO GOOD for His children.

Ephesians 2:8-9

“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast”.

Read 1 Chronicles 11:14 and see the Promises from God;

A deliverer is one who sets free or saves another from a difficult situation. Jesus is the great Deliverer from Sin, from Bondage, and from Death. He drew near to Deliver us, and today He continues to draw near to those who ask, seek, look for Him.

So much that everyone ever created, is given a great mission, yes it’s to Love God, Love others, but there’s more it’s fullness is in Isaiah 61. I love how Father God words it in TPT (have a read and ask the Holy Spirit how you are doing with living these commands out)

Challenge time:

Simply grab your journal, space to be with the Lord and record answers He gives you.

1. Lord, do I know and see You as my Deliverer?
2. Lord, what areas are You inviting me to seek Your Deliverance in?
3. Lord how does that look? Do I contact someone for prayer, do I lay aside snares, do I worship? What does it look like for me?

Choice time: Do you want to release more, or the parts to the Great Deliverer, as He draws near to you and invites you to do so? If so, simply pray, Jesus, You are my deliverer, I believe You are near and Your Presence strengthens me, I give You (the areas He showed) and ask what do You give me in exchange (record what He says).

Give thanks to your Great Deliverer, Healer, Redeemer, Restorer Life Giving Saviour Jesus.

Praise Time – Worship and then contact a friend and share ‘Jesus the Deliverer with them” and see if they need prayer or deliverance in an area, then be Jesus with skin on.

Father, thank You that our hope lies in the fact that it is never beyond You to deliver us, and keep delivering us. Jesus thank You that You are our deliverer, rescuer, redeemer, healer and restorer. We love You. In Jesus name. Amen.
