Do you under estimate your divine calling and destiny ?

Yesterday I was led in the spirit to Ephesians 4:1-6 (Passion Trans)

I Love this chapter and verses by Paul. It talks about our high rank, divine calling and divine destiny. The Lord showed me that as His children we under estimate these three gifts He has given us ! Rank, Calling and destiny. Not just worldly versions, but Devine (dictionary meaning ;’of or like God or a god’, ‘heroes with divine powers’).

Now that is scary. Has the Lord given us this much power ?

Yes He has ! He has given us the same power that raised His son Jesus from the dead, the same wisdom Solomon had, the same faith and courage Josiah ,

Joseph and Daniel displayed. So why are we not walking in it as these amazing men did ?

I think we find the answer in verse 2 :

‘To walk in this high rank, Devine call and destiny it will take tender humility and quiet patience, always demonstrate gentleness and generous love toward one another, especially toward those who may try your patience’.

Our rank, calling and destiny are not for us but for others. Royalty in the Kingdom is not top down through control and manipulation. It is achieved by humility and serving. We see this in John 13:1-17 when Jesus knew the Father had given him all the power in heaven and earth. The disciples had been talking up their ranking amongst themselves. Instead of addressing this directly He took a bowl of water and a towel, crouched down, and as a household servant would, washed His disciples feet and demonstrated Kingdom ranking by serving. Then relinquished His power to save Himself and died on the cross as a criminal for the lives of all mankind.

Jesus Finished the Father’s Work

John 17:1-2 (Passion Trans)

1 This is what Jesus prayed as he looked up into heaven,

“Father, the time has come.

Unveil the glorious splendor of your Son

so that I will magnify your glory!

2 You have already given me authority

over all people so that I may give

the gift of eternal life to all those that you have given to me.”

This is true Royalty in the Kingdom. This is what Solomon had in the beginning of his Kingship, eventually undervalued and discarded at the end.

The problem is the worlds kingship is only seen in the Monarchy and leaders that reign through rule ! Instead of reigning through humility and service.

Paul’s letter to the Ephesians explains how we can succeed in our rank, calling and destiny as king and queen in this world but as fully paid members of His Kingdom :

1. Be faithful to guard the sweet harmony of the Holy Spirit among you in the bonds of peace.

2. To be one body and one spirit, as you were all called into the same glorious hope of divine destiny. Remember the throne is wide enough for everyone to sit on (this is not the throne of the Lord, But the throne appointed to you by the Lord).

3. For our Lord God is one, and so are we, for we share in one faith, one baptism, and one Father.

4. He is the perfect Father who leads us all, works through us all, and lives in us all!

Today let me uncover a secret the devil does not want you to know ! You were created to have what we so want ? Authority. That’s why the Lord created you in His image and why He has opened up an invitation of a relationship and extended His Kingdom to you.

His ultimate dream is that we will one day reign with Him.

Are you ready for this ?

Over the next 12 days I am going to walk you through a programme of discovery ; a discovery of your true identity ! The Lord has asked me to write and lead you through this but its your choice to join our adventure ?

My prayer is through this you will start to see all you were created by Him to be so you can step into that role which includes your rank, calling and destiny He has given you to embrace and grow into !

Father allow the next 12 days of teaching to bring Devine change in the course of history for all of us ! As you lead us to discover who we truely are. Amen
