Wisdom, Revelation and Understanding what are they and How do they work together? These were they words the Father gave me one morning and questions that many amazing followers of Jesus have asked me over the years! Ones that love him and go to church every Sunday. My answer is always the same if you want to see moves of God then spend time with Him, know Him intimately and find out what’s on His heart and let that be on your heart too.
In other words if you want to see His power released in your life. Find out what He is working on and come beside Him in completing it! This is what Jesus did
John 5:19 (NKJV)
Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
We see why in verse 20
“For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel”.
So who may marvel? The world and people in it.
So you may be saying yeah that’s ok for Jesus as He was God so of course he had that relationship with the Father, which He always did and continually does. You are partially right except for one thing, when Jesus walked on the earth He became fully man.
Do you wonder why Jesus become fully man? As He knows all the restrictions we face and deal with daily? So why? Simply to make a way for us through being a witness to us. We would say the works He did are rather extreme and none would not be able to achieve saving the world through freely giving His Life at the Cross.
As this was a special assignment one only He could do This needed be a spotless lamb, one that had not sinned.
He was conceived supernaturally, with blood pure as Adam’s was in the beginning, in Genesis. You may be saying hang on, how could this be? Jesus was conceived and birthed by Mary, who was a virgin woman, but most likely had sinned in some little unknown way or sin was carried in her blood DNA passed through the generations. Selah here.
Science tells us that the blood from a newly conceived foetus comes from the Father’s sperm. But if we look at Jesus’s life although this was true He could have tripped up, sinned and not made it as Adam did.
Really why? He chose to freely lay down all His rights, power and even relationships. The result of this is He started as we do, born with human flesh!
Why ? He and the Father want to show, prove and provide a witness that if He could, we also can, and may enter it into the kingdom.
A relationship with the Father which comes with incredible power to see what Jesus saw while on earth. Before He did the one thing none of us could or were supposed to do, shed His life Blood and water, in order to bring a way of restoration to a world and people so needing it.
But did you know this is the only thing we cannot do and see through our life that Jesus did? Yes you who that comment right. Apart from dying for the world, all the other things that Jesus did are not only possible butintended for us to do, through our relationship with the Father, as we bring heaven to earth.
So that the Father can receive the glory He desires. This in essence is what Jesus did and modelled for us.
Now I know some of the things written about what Jesus did are a bit farfetched for any to comprehend, or to know they were possible until they happened. Like raising a baby from the dead, seeing food multiply, leprosy healed, lump disappearing off or in people’s bodies including my own.
All this makes a way to pursue the Father more and follow Jesus’ leadings to the best of my understanding, while at the same time learning on the journey, and always holding my understanding lightly in my hand, so the Father through the Holy Spirit can evolve it and refine it closer and closer to His way and understanding.
So hence this new series the Lord has directed me to write on the three Keys to a transformed life, where you are Living with power, seeing and working with the Father in incredible, unbelievable ways and seeing God move in exceptional ways.
